Altered Accordion Album - Red Lake Crop - Class
Unfortunately, I don't have my two samples yet, as they are busy visiting out in the rural limits of Manitoba. Let's just say I am quite envious of them. This country girl has been an urbanite much, much longer than she was a rural farmgirl, but will always be a country girl at heart. So, to give you an idea of what the class is about, it will be an altered accordion album like the yellow album in the photos below, "except" we will be using KaiserCraft's new "Bundle Joy Collection". I am loving the pinks and blues that these papers come in. Kits will either be pink or blue.

BINGO Cards
I never would have thought - well I know I didn't think of it - all those years ago in the country community hall, by my Mother's side, playing Bingo, that there would come a day I would take some old Bingo cards and create one-of-a-kind art pieces. My newest love in my sphere of creativity. I sat beside the wonderful Kim Newberg at a scrapbooking event this past weekend and she challenged me to do something with an old Bingo card. Cause she was already working on some of her own old Bingo cards. Three creations later, and I am very intrigued and pleased with this new venue of base for these projects. While I did use old clipart photos (thank you again Kim for having some on hand for me), you could easily tuck in a little photo of someone special. Now, to go get me some good quality players and a roll of wire!

For the Birds
I am surprised these berries are still hanging on in the midst of winter. You would think the local bird gang would have munched them all away by now. Instead, they cling to the tendrils branching off the tree, dangling in the cool, gentle breezes -- freezing cold! Just like everything and everyone else out in the winter! But soon, very soon, the birds will start migrating back this way, and the berries will soon be a meal made in heaven for tired, feathered friends.

Winter Wonderland
Inchies
Inchies - iddy, biddy, little 1" square pieces of art! I challenged myself this past week to make 55 and frame them, for my 55 coming up this week! Done! And I love them. And I love them framed. Although I see some have been mounted somewhat crooked! That goes to show that life has imperfections. And after 55 years, believe you me, there have been them!

Winter Wonderland ~ The Swaps
I have definitely neglected this blog! Busy doing other creative things. So, catch-up time and hopefully will do a lot of that this week. I see the last post was about Winter Wonderland held in Manhattan Beach, CA. At the event ~ well, pre-event ~ we were given the option to sign-up for swaps. Not everyone does, but I'd say most do! And there are several, so you have to pace yourself. I signed-up for the Christmas Stocking swap, glove and socks swap, snow globe swap, Christmas angel swap, Christmas ornament swap, and Christmas wreath swap. The interesting thing was creating these things and then really having to part with them. It was fabulous thinking outside of the box and creating one-of-a-kind goodness to share away. My bigging dilemma was how to transport that Snow Globe. Everyone started with the same type of globe - a glad dome that was about 8-10" high and a circumference of about 4", on a wood base. The sky was the limit - create a little piece of winter wonderland in your dome. First off, the shipping from the US to Canada to get my globe was outrageous. I worried every time I held it that I might drop it. I.was.not.going.to.order.another! Let's just say that the globe got handled very little, and with kid gloves, it seemed. It made it ~ carry-on style ~ and a goodly wrap of bubble wrap. Here are some photos of some of the swaps.
